Dr. Mark Rettstatt

Why Dentistry 

Dr. Rettstatt’s journey into dentistry began during his senior year of high school, sparked by conversations with his grandfather, Dr. John Winkler, who practiced orthodontics in Worthington, OH. Seeing the lasting impact a dedicated dentist could have on a community inspired Dr. Rettstatt to pursue the field himself. He finds his greatest fulfillment in building relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their smiles.

Education

A native of Dublin, Ohio, Dr. Rettstatt graduated from Worthington Christian High School. He went on to graduate as valedictorian from Indiana Wesleyan University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Humanities. This dual background in science and the arts provided a well-rounded foundation for his dental training at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. During his time as a Buckeye, Dr. Rettstatt served as the President of the Class of 2026 and held numerous leadership positions in organizations at the college. He remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of dental advancements and clinical excellence to provide the highest standard of care.

Out & About 

Dr. Rettstatt lives in Polaris. Outside of dentistry, he can be found enjoying various sports like basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. He also balances his active lifestyle with a love for literature and cheering on his favorite sports teams (Go Bucks!). As one of six siblings, Dr. Rettstatt deeply values family time and enjoys spending time with them during Holidays.
