Why Dentistry 

Dr. Alex’s path to dentistry was shaped early on by his family’s background in healthcare. With his grandfather practicing dentistry and his father working as a radiologist, he always knew he wanted a career centered around serving others. What drew him most to dentistry was the unique combination of science, creativity, and personal connection. Growing up, he enjoyed working with his hands through music and photography, and dentistry gave him the opportunity to apply that same creativity in a meaningful way. Most importantly, he values building long-term relationships with patients and helping people feel more confident in their health and smile.

Education

Dr. Alex grew up in Cleveland before moving to Columbus just prior to starting high school, where he graduated from Olentangy High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Business, from The Ohio State University, graduating summa cum laude. He then continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he earned his dental degree with honors. His education gave him a strong clinical foundation while also reinforcing the importance of communication, patient-centered care, and lifelong learning.

Out & About 

Dr. Alex and his wife, Elise, live in Italian Village, where they enjoy exploring new restaurants, coffee shops, and local spots around Columbus. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys staying active through golf and tennis and is always up for spending time outdoors whenever he can. Music has always been a creative outlet for him, and he enjoys playing his guitar, keyboard, and ukulele. He is also a huge fan of all things Ohio State and Cleveland sports, so there’s a good chance he’ll be talking Buckeyes, Browns, Guardians, or Cavaliers with patients throughout the day.
