Why Dentistry 

My childhood dentist and orthodontist inspired me to pursue a career in dentistry. I admired their passion for helping others and their love for their work. Driven by positive interactions, kindness, and meeting new people, I thrive on recalling details, connecting with people, and creating a sense of community. I enjoy the comfort and bonds formed through these connections. My character is shaped by a passion for promoting positive outcomes through personal interaction and hard work. As a first-generation dentist and public health professional, I am eager to continue learning and promoting good oral health in the Sunbury community and for the families I serve.

Education

I was born and raised in Dublin, Ohio, and attended Dublin Jerome High School. I then went to Ohio Wesleyan University, where I studied Psychology on a Pre-Dental track and played NCAA D3 lacrosse. Later, I transferred to The Ohio State University (OSU) and graduated with a degree in Environmental Public Health. I continued at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, serving as the OSU Student Team Dentist for all scholarship athletes and holding leadership roles such as Community Outreach Chair of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association and Secretary of the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. I was also a member of the American Dental Student Association and American Dental Association and volunteered for Smiles for Schools and Give Kids a Smile Day.

Out & About 

My parents were both born in Ohio. My mother graduated from Marietta College and spent most of her career at JP Morgan Chase. She works in a dental office to stay connected to her future dentist sons. My father graduated from OSU, played soccer there, and works in banking with PNC. My brother graduated from OSU and is currently a fourth-year dental student at OSU College of Dentistry. He was recently accepted as an OSU team dentist.

I have a passion for community and coaching and have coached youth lacrosse for a summer travel league since 2017. My favorite season is summer, except for Fall Saturdays when I tailgate every home Buckeye football game. In warm weather, I enjoy the sun, pool, pickleball, and friends; in winter, I love snowboarding.
